Sandra and her husband met through mutual friends in church and she was “attracted by how well-rounded he was and by his intelligence”. However, Sandra shares that “as we started dating and finding out more about each other, I realised he was also a very filial son/grandson and I loved how protective he is over his loved ones/family. I knew immediately that I would be in safe hands if I married this guy.” It was such that the lovely couple married each other and spent a wonderful first year together. A year after their marriage, Sandra and her husband decided to hold a photoshoot for their first wedding anniversary. They did a search on Google -- their “most trusted friend” -- and found OneThreeOneFour’s site, eventually deciding to have Hendra capture their memories in Bali. I decided why not, our first year wedding anniversary was coming up, the photos could serve as a good memorabilia. On why the couple chose to hold their anniversary photoshoot in Bali, Sandra shares it was a funny reason: “My husband was lamenting that there was nothing to do in Bali when I told him I wanted to visit this city. Having never been to Bali, I then got worried we would be bored since we'd booked a 5 days trip. I went about researching all sorts of activities to do in Bali and chanced upon gorgeous photos of couples taken in Bali. I decided why not, our first year wedding anniversary was coming up, the photos could serve as a good memorabilia. So that was that. It turned out there was so much to see/ eat/ do in Bali, we were reluctant to return home after the trip and regretted not staying another day more.” While discussing photoshoot locations, Sandra came across photos of a beach that she loved on a blog and shared them with Hendra. He then suggested that our couple hold their shoot at Nyanyi beach, known for the beautiful sunsets there. "It was the perfect location for the shoot as it was really private and had the most gorgeous sunset."
