Cherry blossoms, and more cherry blossoms! Who could get enough of these pretty pink blooms? Not us, so here’s another cherry blossom pre-wedding shoot in Korea for you to feast your eyes on. Our lovely Malaysian couple, Corvina and Aden, travelled to Korea to catch the cherry blossoms for their pre-wedding shoot with Kim Beom Soo, their OneThreeOneFour photographer. Corvina works as a professional model in Malaysia and she first met Aden when he contacted her to discuss a future collaboration over lunch. She says that it was “probably love at first sight for [Aden]” and the rest is now history. “With its wide range of photographers available all over the world, Corvina was able to choose someone who she really likes based on their portfolios” Corvina shares that she “was researching online for photographers in South Korea as [she] loves their photography styles and Korean makeup and hair do. Our couple ultimately chose to have their outdoor photoshoot taken in Seoul as it was famous for its cherry blossom season. They share that they “have a thing for cherry blossoms because [their] first destination as a couple was Hokkaido during the sakura season”. "Kim was able to find a good place in Seoul that abounds with cherry blossom but without the hordes of people" Luckily for Corvina and Alvin, they went right at the peak of the cherry blossom season in Korea and were treated to a pleasant sight – pink blossoms lined Seoul Forest, the park they had their pre-wedding shoot at, creating the perfect backdrop for their soft and romantic photos. Kim was able to find a good place in Seoul that abounds with cherry blossom but without the hordes of people, allowing them to enjoy their shoot without worries. Corvina and Aden first had an outdoor date-type shoot at Seoul Forest with the help of some cotton candy and a fresh flower bouquet specially prepared by our photographer. Living up to her job as a professional model, Corvina posed well in every way suggested by our photographer. The Koreans have a saying: to walk on a flowery path, that is to walk on a path filled with happiness, and our photographer, Kim, definitely made a great effort to ensure that our couple were able to not only walk on a path full of cherry blossoms petals, but also a path that literally rained these pretty pink flowers! They then changed into their wedding gown and suit to continue with a pre-wedding shoot at the various beautiful locations around the park, from a boardwalk to the dirt path deep into the park to Kyung Hee University which is located just next to the park. Their shoot was so many pink shades of lovely that according to Kim, matched tremendously well with Corvina and Aden’s lovely and lively relationship. While shooting at Kyung Hee University, Corvina and Aden bumped into a group of primary school students who were touring the campus that day and decided to take an impromptu shot with the students. The couple ended up “loving the pictures very much!” "We felt very heart-warming for all the little things he has done."
