Sean and Tiffany from the United States decided to have their photoshoot in Hokkaido at Hokkaido University. The garden at Hokkaido University served as a great backdrop for the couple’s photos, with beautiful autumn foliage in the backdrop. Apart from the autumn foliage, the lush greenery at Hokkaido University also made the couple’s photos look stunning. Of course, for a trip to Japan, the shrines shouldn’t be missed! Sean and Tiffany also dressed up in kimonos to shoot at the Yahiko Shrine. The Yahiko Shrine added a historical charm to the couple’s photos, since the Yahiko Shrine has been worshipped since ancient times. The lovely couple even left some kind words for OneThreeOneFour: I initially had high anxiety traveling internationally with our wedding garments in a foreign country to perform this pre-wedding shoot. However, we had an incredible experience with the OneThreeOneFour staff because everything was well planned out and handled with kind care. Eve kindly listened to all our requests and concerns, which she used to arrange the best possible team. Tomoko (hair and makeup professional) kept such an attention to detail while preparing, shooting and with touch ups during the day. We brought our own garments and she also made sure the wedding dress didn’t drag in the mud (it was raining at the beginning of the shoot) and was well positioned and cared for along with makeup. Rie (our translator) helped us connect with both Tomoko and Kuma (photographer) and even explained about the culture and some vocabulary in between shoots while moving from location to location. Finally, Kuma was the best photographer we have ever worked with because despite a small language barrier he never ceased to give us direction, which was appreciated and reflected in the quality of the pictures. Tomoko, Rie and Kuma were all so kind, attentive, accommodating and responsible for our positive experience.
